We know how hard it is to fit classes into your busy schedule, so here's a new twist! A lot of our classes will be given on an on-call basis. We will try to group you as much as possible, but in some cases you will have one-on-one instruction! Unless the word "beginner" is included in the topic title, you will need basic skills in the craft before signing up. ALL quilting-type classes require a basic knowledge of sewing. Just ask if you'e not sure!

 

PUNCHNEEDLE EMBROIDERY
This ancient craft has been very popular in the industry for the last 2 years. Embellish clothing, frame your finished piece, or make it into a pin! The possibilities are endless. Class fee $10, supplies extra.

BEGINNER NEEDLE-TURN APPLIQUE
Applique is a breeze when you learn with Mom (Mary)!! She has the best tips and tricks of the trade.$20 fee.  Sign up today for your own private lesson!

MAGIC LOOP
Knitting is here again! Learn how to knit tubes on ONE circular needle! Time and date arranged with teacher - please call us to schedule! $20 class fee, plus yarn and needles.

MACHINE QUILTING
Is back, too! Bring your threaded machine w/quilting foot and we'll do the rest! You will have plenty of practice time and expert tips from your teacher. Please call to schedule your lesson. $20 class fee.

BEGINNER KNITTING
Time and date arranged with teacher by calling The Woolen Willow. One-on-one or in a class of not more than 4 students. Fee is $15 per class, plus yarn and needles.

2-SOCKS ON 2-NEEDLES
Learn to knit each sock on two 29" circular needles instead of 4-5 double pointed! Time and date arranged with teacher by calling The Woolen Willow. Students must have knit socks before on dbl pointed needles. $20 class fee, plus yarn and needles. Sample on display.

BEADED BRACELET MAKING
Come and take this dynamic beginner beading class and make beautiful jewelry for gift-giving or personal use! Call to arrange a class that fits your schedule! $25 fee (includes materials).

$20 fee.
Hand Quilting
$20 fee per class.

continues each 2nd or 4th Tuesday.  $10 per session plus book & materials.
 
RUG BRAIDING: 
Tuesday evening:  April 15  6:00-8:30pm; $15 class fee, materials additional

BEGINNER BRAZILIAN EMBROIDERY:
May 13 @ 6:00pm and continues each 2nd Tuesday of the month.

RUG WEAVING: 
April 22 @ 6pm or April 26 @ 11am-3pm (bring a lunch) $45 includes frame; fabric additional

Rug Hooking Retreats!

Hooked Face Doll: 
Join us for a 1-day hooking retreat!  Take all day to relax and enjoy yourself.  Skill Level: This should not be your first hooking project, and you need basic sewing machine skills.  We will be making a dressed, hooked-face doll, and lunch will be catered.  FEE $50, includes everything!  Sign up today, as space will be limited to 10 students.  April 19 from 10:30-3:30.
 
Beginner Hooking Workshop: 
You're invited to come and learn a great American craft…wool rug hooking!  We'll spend the day with you, teach you the history behind this art and get you hooking like crazy!  You can choose from several different small mats.  Your class fee of $45 covers your kit, hook and lunch!  You may use our hooking frames (purchase is optional) for the day.  May 31 from 10:30-3:30.

THANGLES FAT QUARTER CLUB

Sign up for one of our THANGLES Fat Quarter Projects!  We've selected 4 different designs…you can choose one, or do them all!  These are nice sized projects, and very affordable – simply sign up, purchase your start-up kit then return monthly to purchase fat quarters to finish your quilt.  Yes, it's that easy!  We'll have the four quilts pictured on our website QUILT BOM page with all the pricing details – check them out and sign up today!
